I have seen this very same issue with the town homes around Communication Hill in Blossom Valley. In 2005 some of the town homes were selling for upper $500K - $600K. Now there are so many single family homes, with yards selling for $500K in Blossom Valley, the Communication Hill area is struggling. Yes, some high end condo/thomes are selling but it is a life style choice and not an affordability choice. Mary – great points about condo/town home market compared to single family homes.
