Recently my husband, Jim, and I spent a leisurely Sunday afternoon in downtown Campbell. Our intention had been to tour the Ainsley House, but unfortunately we missed the last time for the guided tour. So instead we lingered in one of the coffee houses and did some shopping. The photos below were taken that day. Enjoy!
And the garage – don’t you love this roof?
Downtown Campbell banner reminds visitors of the city’s historic background. (You’ll see some Victorian houses nearby, as well.)
Something fun are the fruit plaques in the pavement near the Ainsley House, reminding us of the fruit growing and packing history in Campbell. At first, you just see these 12 tiles…
Upon closer inspection, you’ll find each one is dedicated to a particular fruit or nut which was grown here in the Valley of Heart’s Delight.

There’s plenty more to see in downtown Campbell!
